Motherhood Changes Everything
The day we celebrate Mother’s Day usually focuses on all those qualities mothers have in terms of love, sacrifice, and care. However, over time, I found myself admiring another aspect of mothers’ existence, which is their inner strength that allows them to pursue their goals, ambitions, and career aspirations despite having children.
After going back to my job after taking parental leave, I realized how challenging it could be emotionally and physically to do everything. I thought that working from home would be relatively simple before I became a mother, but motherhood teaches you that nothing can ever be easy anymore.
The Reality of Being a First-Time Mom
When you are a first-time mom, everything becomes more complicated. No matter how much sleep you get, there are still some sleepless nights. Even simple activities become exhausting and difficult. You find yourself talking to your co-workers while trying to soothe a baby who is screaming at the top of their lungs. Your inbox is flooded with messages and emails that need to be answered, and you cannot find enough energy to complete tasks.
There are good days and bad ones.
But they keep coming.
This is the thing that fascinates me the most.
Work From Home Mothers Are Stronger Than We Think
Modern work-from-home mothers are gradually demonstrating their strength without even realizing. Motherhood helps them prove daily that they are able to balance both ambitions and family responsibilities. Actually, motherhood makes women much stronger, more persistent, and emotionally resilient.
I’ve seen mothers run businesses, meet clients, create content, organize marketing campaigns, freelance, learn new things, and meet other professional requirements while raising kids at the same time.
While people usually pay attention only to achievements, nobody really understands how much emotional strength is needed to cope with this balance every day.
The Aspect People Forget To Talk About
It was those days when I kept questioning myself all the time.
Am I making progress?
Am I behind in terms of career?
Am I a good mom?
These are some questions women ask themselves after becoming moms regularly. But with time, I understood one thing – the fact of surviving and moving forward is already considered an achievement.
Work from home mothers are way stronger than they seem themselves.

Because of that, we can call them superheroes in our own way. They aren’t ideal moms or professionals, but they try anyway.
